On March 1 you can reserve a rebate on a new Energy Star clothes washer, refrigerator, dishwasher or freezer. Homeowners can reserve only one rebate per household. Rebates range from $100 to $200, depending on appliance. Some rebates require proof of recycling the old unit. Click on the link and check out all the details. The webcast will discuss ways you can lower the amount of electricity you use to cool your home during the summer. You’ll also learn how to improve your home’s building envelope, and find those areas where your home may be leaking energy. You’ll also learn about energy efficient lighting.Energy experts will be available to answer your questions.
