Energy Management
Load Management (or energy management) participants allow Meeker Cooperative to control their energy use during peak demand times in exchange for lower rates. Load Management occurs whenever our power suppliers and Meeker Cooperative find it necessary to add capacity. Control periods are usually weather-related and usually occur in mid-afternoon to early evening, when energy use is typically highest. There is no control on Sundays or holidays, except during extreme weather and system conditions.
A separate load control meter is mounted on your house. Energy Management participants are eligible for cash rebates when installing or converting existing equipment.

Qualified Installation Program
Research shows that two-thirds of all air conditioning system installations are oversized for the home, causing homeowners to spend more than necessary for cooling systems that often run inefficiently.
With our qualified installation cooling program, you will receive the right system for your home, saving you energy and money. At the same time, you will know that the contractor you choose has met rigorous requirements through the HVAC/R Education qualifications and testing . Once they have completed the training, they will be added to a list of qualified contractors. In order to receive the rebate listed, you must choose one of the contractors registered.
Meeker Cooperative members can apply for an Energy Management Improvement (EMI) Loan when making energy-related improvements. The maximum loan is a five-year, $3,000 limit with a minimum payment of $50. Contact us to learn more about an EMI loan.
