CO-OP 101

An inside look at your cooperative, its history, operations, energy sources and broadband services.

Co-op 101 is Meeker Energy's member education and leadership program designed to provide a behind-the-scenes look at your Cooperative. Established in 2009, the two-year program meets four times each year and helps participants gain a deeper understanding of the people, equipment, planning and investment required to deliver reliable electricity and broadband services. Through presentations, facility tours, demonstrations and hands-on learning experiences, members explore topics such as power supply, outage restoration, cybersecurity, broadband technology, Cooperative finances and the unique Cooperative business model. Co-op 101 is an opportunity for member-owners to build connections with employees, learn how their Cooperative operates and develop a greater appreciation for the services they rely on every day.
