Enrollment: If standby generation is installed, it is every generation owner’s responsibility to review the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) rules and ensure their generator(s) comply with the rules applicable to non-emergency engines. This is a voluntary program and the member is responsible for ensuring that the service load is shed during the demand response period determined by Meeker Cooperative.

Opt-Out: The member may opt out of the interruptible program. Selecting the opt-out option will remove the member from participation in the program for a period of no less than one year and also any rate cost savings associated with the Large Power Peak Alert rate.
