We are in the process of updating the load control equipment located on the outside of houses, shops, barns or other buildings that are on our load management programs. The equipment update is done outside where the load control equipment and energy management meter are located.
Meeker Energy contracted with Mid-Minnesota Electric of Litchfield to perform the work. If you are on a load management program, be aware that you may see their vehicle on your property. As a courtesy, Mid-Minnesota's electricians will knock on your door to let you know that they are onsite before they begin any work. If they do not receive any response, they will proceed with updating the load control receiver equipment. The process should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
The load control update project will be completed by November of 2025.
