Meeker Cooperative is proud to recognize David Leonhardi and Neil Pearson for successfully completing the Certified Cooperative Director (CCD) program through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). This achievement ensures they are well-prepared to fulfill their responsibilities as board members, representing Meeker Cooperative members with a strong foundation in cooperative governance and industry knowledge.

The CCD program is a nationally recognized credential designed to equip electric cooperative directors with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions on behalf of their members. 09-22-302 The program consists of courses covering the cooperative business model, board operations, financial decision-making, strategic planning, and the duties and responsibilities of directors. By completing this training, board members gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing electric cooperatives, allowing them to contribute more effectively to the cooperative’s mission.

David Leonhardi represents District 5, which includes parts of Stearns, Wright, and Meeker Counties, serving members in the communities of Fairhaven, Cokato, Southside, French Lake, and Dassel. His current term runs through 2025.

Neil Pearson represents District 6, covering areas in Kandiyohi, Meeker, and Renville Counties. This district includes Harrison, Kandiyohi, Gennessee, Fahlun, Lake Elizabeth, East Lake Lillian, Cosmos, Acton, Danielson, Swede Grove, Brookfield, and Boon Lake. His current term extends through 2026.
