A little rain couldn’t stop the celebration as more than 1,000 members and guests turned out for Meeker Cooperative’s Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Event on May 21. Spirits were high as attendees gathered to reflect on the Co-op’s 90-year legacy and look ahead to its exciting future.

This year’s event marked the official unveiling of Meeker Cooperative’s refreshed logo and brand identity. 18-22-301 The updated look reflects the Cooperative’s ongoing commitment to reliability, innovation, and the communities it serves.

The annual meeting began at noon, followed by a full afternoon of activities, exhibits, and family fun. Members enjoyed a delicious meal of pork chops, potato salad, baked beans, chips, and cookies, serving more than 1,000 plates!

Educational and interactive displays included:

  • A live electrical safety demonstration
  • Electric vehicles, bikes, scooters, and yard tools
  • Equipment used by line workers and broadband technicians
  • In-home technology and business service information

Children enjoyed the High Voltage Chaos obstacle course, a bounce house, and Joah’s Ark petting zoo.

During the business portion of the meeting, members elected Ben Beckman as the new District 5 director. At it’s reorganizational meeting the board held officer elections.
